This week saw the launch of Meta's latest way to get more eyes on to their platforms with Threads.  Clearly a shot at giving people an alternative to Twitter, Threads launched with over 30 Million people in less than 24 hours.  But the real story is that they are hoping to get it to over the Billion mark in record time.  Tied to Instagram, it was easy to join, follow people that were already hooked into your Insta account and start the journey. The first 2 days were all feel good, trying to figure out the platform and then with people being people, the promo pushers started to rear their ugly heads. No offical adds on the platform yet but you know that's coming.  It's a nice clean start but I would really be surprised if it doesn't become what social media is and that's anything and everything but once it starts getting political and infested by the crypto and NFT pushers, it'll be the same old, same old.  I hope it doesn't get to that but it is the nature of the beast.  What are your thoughts so far?
